30 huhti 2017 WHILE IT RAINED FOR TWO DAYS

Heippa! Miten teidän viikonloppu on sujunut? Me ei olla tehty paljoakaan mitään erikoista, sillä viimeiset kaksi päivää täällä satoi aivan kaatamalla. Täysin taukoamatta… Ollaan siis hengailtu vaan ja syöty hyvin. Tänään oli ihana herätä parin päivän sateen jälkeen auringon paisteeseen. Ja nyt koko tulevalle viikolle on luvattu onneksi hyvää säätä. Mäkin pääsen vihdoin ehkä altaan reunalle makoilemaan. Seuraavaksi mä alan kuvaamaan teille uutta videota, joka tulee heti alkuviikosta ulos. Saa nähdä miten kauan mulla tuossa menee, mutta tavoitteena olisi lähteä vanhempieni hotelille lounaalle. Ajattelin myös nyt tänään illalla saada teille kysymyspostauksen kasaan, eli nyt tänään ehditte vielä käydä jättämässä kysymyksiä tähän postaukseen.

Hi! How has your weekend been? We haven’t really done much since it has rained two days non stop. So we’ve just been hanging and eating good food. Today it felt extra nice to wake up to the sun shine after the rainy days. And I think the weather should stay good from now on. Maybe it’s time I’ll also go and lay by the pool. Next I have to shoot a video, that will come out in the beginning of the week. Will see how long that will take, but I’m trying to make it so I can go and have lunch at my parents hotel. I also thought to answer to your question today in the evening. So if you have some question feel free to ask them here.

Snickarbacken 7 – Snickarbacken 7

Voidaan aloittaa paikasta jossa postauksen kuvat on otettu, eli Snickarbacken 7:sesta, joka siis sijaitsee nimensä mukaisesti kyseisessä osoitteessa. Ihana kahvila, josta sisältä löytyy myös sisustusliike! Täältä mun on suositeltava heidän keittojaan. Heidän päivittäinen keittonsa vaihtuu joka päivä, ja joka kerta kun oon sen syönyt niin ne on olleet mielettömän hyviä.

We start with the place where the pictures on these post have been shot at, Snickarbacken 7, which is located at the exact same address as the name tells. Such a lovely cafe and they have an interior store in there too! From here I have to recommend their soups. There daily soup changes everyday, and every time that I’ve tried it it has been so delicious. 

Koloni – Biblioteksgatan 5

Tästä vinkkasin mun Tukholman shoppailupostauksessa. Täydellinen spotti lounaalle shoppailuiden lomassa. Heidän listaltaan löydät niin raakaruokaa, kuin paljon gluteenittomia kuin vegaanisia vaihtoehtoja. Varma ja hyvä paikka, joka toimii aina!

I already told you guys about this place in my Stockholm shopping guide -post. A perfect place for lunch if you are doing some shopping in the city. They have RAW foods, lots of gluten free and vegan options. Good and nice place that works always!

Nybrogatan 38 – Nybrogatan 38

Heidän lounas ruokalistalta löytyy vaikka mitä herkullista. Viime kerralla kun äitini ja siskoni olivat Tukholmassa käymässä vein heidät tänne lounaalle, ja kaikki tykkäsivät kovasti! Suosittelen kokeilemaan heidän munakkaitaan, hummeripastaa sekä chevrejuustoa hunajalla sekä aprikoosilla. Täytyykin itse asiassa ottaa pian uusintakäynti täällä, tuli niin nälkä kun mietin heidän ruokalistaansa! Muista tehdä varaus jos haluat varmistaa, että saat pöydän.

They have so many good things on their lunch menu. The last time my mom and sister were in Stockholm I took them to eat here, and everyone loved it! I recommend you try their omelettes, lobster pasta and chevre cheese with honey and apricots. I have to go there again soon since I got so hungry just thinking about their menu! Book a table if you want to make sure you actually get a table. 

Riche – Birger Jarlsgatan 4

Klassikkopaikka niin lounaalle, päivälliselle kuin drinksuille. Lounaalla kannattaa kokeille tyyppillisesti heidän lihapullat perunamuusilla. Suosittelen! Tännekin kannattaa varata pöytä etukäteen.

A classic place for lunch, dinner or for drinks. At the lunch the typical thing to order is meatballs with mashed potatoes. I recommend! Book a table in forehand.

Holy Greens – Mood Gallerian

Tuoreita, raikkaita salaatteja! Vaihtoehtoisesti voit kasata oman salaattisi tai valita joitain listalta. Jos teillä tekee mieli ruokaisaa salaattia niin tämä on ehdottomasti paikka jonne suunnata!

Fresh, good salads! You can either decide what you want in your own salad or you can pick something from the menu. If you are in the mood for a salad I defiantly recommend you head here!

Sturehof 

Näin kevään ja kesäisin tulessa heillä on ulkona terassi, Sturegallerianin edustalla. Aivan täydellinen spotti istua ulkona, ihailla kaunista Stureplania, katsoa Tukholman vilinää ja ihmisiä. Täältä saat muun muassa herkullista beef tartaria!

In the spring and summer they have a terrace right outside of Sturegallerian. It’s a perfect spot to sit outside, admire beautiful Stureplan, just watch people walking by and so on. Here they also have really delicious beef tartar! 

Phil’s Burger – Stureplan, Gärdet, Kungsholmen

Ei postausta lounaspaikoista ilman Phil’s Burgeria. Nyt vielä kun säätkin on hyvät niin mieletön päästä nauttimaan hampparit ulkona terassilla. Oon aikaisemminkin sanonut ettei oo paikkaa jonka hampurilaiset vetäisi vertojaan näille. Musta tämä on sellainen pakko kokeilla -juttu Tukholmassa. Vinkkinä myös hyvät pirtelöt!

I can’t do a post of lunch places without mentioning Phil’s Burger. And now that the weather is so good it’s nice to eat a burger outside on a terrace. I’ve already told you before that there is no place that could compare to Phil’s Burger’s burgers. I feel like it’s a must try thing when you are in Stockholm. As a tip they also have delicious milkshakes!

Hawaii Poke – Mäster Samuelsgatan 9 & Gallerian

Tämä oli itse asiassa mulle ihan uusi tuttavuus, jonka kävin pari viikkoa sitten kokeilemassa. Tai itse asiassa hain täältä mukaan lounasta kotiin! Kokeilin kulhoa, jossa on lohta ja sushiriisiä. Todella herkullinen! Täällä pitää käydä useammin.

This was actually a new place I tried a couple of weeks ago. Or I actually picked out lunch to go home and ate it! I tried a bowl that had salmon and sushi rice in it. So tasty! I have to go here more often.

Cafe Egoiste – Mood Gallerian

Täällä oon käynyt kerran lounaalla ja ehdoton suositus lähtee myös tähän suuntaan. Mä kokeilin minuuttipihviä ranskiksilla ja ensi kerralla lähtee kokeiluun lohisalaatti, joka näytti myös herkulliselta!

I’ve been here once and I would defiantly recommend the place. I tried the minute steak with fries and next time I want to try out the salmon salad, which also looked delicious!

Juiceverket – Mood Gallerian

Jos lounasaikaan kaipaat vain jotain virkistystä niin kokeile Juiceverketin mehuja. Heidän tuoreet mehunsa ovat niin herkullisia ja virkistäviä!

If you are just in the mood for something to drink, go and try out Juiceverkets juices. Their fresh pressed juices are so tasty and refreshing!

21 maalis 2017 WHERE TO SHOP IN STOCKHOLM

Viime aikoina ootte kyselleet vinkkejä Tukholmaan, niin shoppailuista, must see -paikoista kuin siitä missä syödä. Oon viime syksynä tehnyt yhden postauksen siitä missä syödä, mutta tässä ajassa oon löytänyt niin paljon lisää uusia kivoja paikkoja. Joten ajattelin tässä mahdollisimman pian tehdä siitäkin uuden postauksen. Jos kuitenkin haluatte niin voitte sillä aikaa kurkata kyseisen postauksen tästä. Nyt kuitenkin aloitetaan siitä, missä mun mielestä Tukholmassa kannattaa käydä shoppailemassa!

Lately you’ve been asking if I could share some tips to Stockholm. Where to shop, must see things and where to eat. I’ve done a one post last about where to eat in Stockholm last autumn, but I’ve found so many good new places after that. So I will do a new post about that too soon as possible. Meanwhile, you can check out the old post from here. But now we start off with where I think you should go shopping in Stockholm.

Norrmalmstorg

Lähdetään liikkeelle vaikka tästä. Norrmalmstorgilta löydät Acnen ja Massimo Duttin liikkeet. Tuo Acne Studion liike on ainakin mulle sellainen, jossa tykkää käydä pyörähtämässä.

Nurkan takaa löydät myös lemppari Zarani Tukholmassa, osoite tälle on Hamngatan 8.

So I guess we’ll start here. From Norrmalmstorg you’ll find Acne and Massimo Dutti stores. The Acne Studios store is a place where I love to stop by. 

Biblioteksgatan 

Norrmalmstorgilta pääset jatkamaan helposti suoraan Biblioteksgatanille, joka on muutenkin sellainen katu joka on ihana Tukholmassa kävellä läpi. Täältä löydät muun muassa seuraavat liikkeet: Sephora, Filippa K, & Other Stories, By Malene Birger, COS, Tommy Hilfiger, M.A.C.

Ekstravinkkinä suosittelen pysähtymään lounaalla Koloni nimisessä paikassa, joka sijaitsee myös kyseisellä kadulla.

From Norrmalmstorg you’ll be able to continue straight to Biblioteksgatan, which by the way is nice street to walk through in Stockholm even though you wouldn’t be interested on the shops. Here you’ll find stores like Sephora, Filippa K, & Other Stories, By Malene Birger, COS, Tommy Hilfiger, M.A.C.

As an extra tip I recommend stopping for lunch at a place called Koloni, which is also located on this street. 

Mäster Samuelsgatan 5

Poikkikatu joka lähtee Biblioteksgatanilta ja täältä löydät hiljattain avautuneen Celinen liikkeen!

It’s a cross street from Biblioteksgatan and here you find the Celine store! It has been opened up pretty recently. 

Birger Jarlsgatan 

Seuraavaksi päästään Birger Jarlsgatanille, josta löydätte kaikki high end -liikkeet kuten Chanel, Gucci, Natalie Schutterman, Louis Vuitton ja niin edelleen. Natalie Schuttermanin liikkeelle on annettava erillinen vinkkaus! Ihana liike jossa myydään niin Saint Laurentia, Givenchyä, Chloe:ta, Fendiä, Valentinoa, Balenciagaa ja monta muuta ihanaa merkkiä. Niin vaatteita, laukkuja, kenkiä kuin asusteitakin!

Tältä kadulta löydät myös Zara Home liikkeen, joka on ainakin mulle sellainen jossa tykkään todella paljon! Täällä tykkään käydä tosi usein pyörähtämässä.

Next we get to Birger Jarlsgatan where all the high end stores and located like Chanel, Gucci, Natalie Schutterman, Louis Vuitton and so on. I have to give a special shout out to Natalia Schutterman! It’s such a lovely store where they sell brands like Saint Laurents, Givenchy, Chloe, Fendi, Valentino, Balenciaga and many more. They have shoes, bags, clothes and accessories! 

On this street you’ll also find Zara Home, which I like a lot. I love to stop by here pretty often. 

Sturegallerian

Täällä mulla ei niin usein tuu käytyä muuta kuin tyyliin kahvilla, Sturehofissa tai Grand Escalierissa drinksuilla. Mutta Sturegallerianista löydät taas Zaran, Massimo Duttin, Casallin, Lexingtonin ja monta muuta pientä liikettä.

I don’t come here that often. Or if, I do it’s usually for coffee, or to Sturehoff or to grab a drink in Grand Escalier. But here you’ll once again find Zara, Massimo Dutti, Casall, Lexington and many other smaller stores. 

NK 

Mun mielestä Tukholmassa ollessa ei kannatta missata NK:ta eli Nordiska Kompagnietia. Kyseessä on siis iso tavaratalo, vähän Stockmannin kaltainen, mutta huomattavasti laajemmalla merkkivalikoimalla. Täällä on ihana pyöriä eri kerroksissa, käydä lounaalla, tai pysähtyä vaikka Hermeksen liikeessä NK:n sisällä. Erityis maininta on annettava heidän aurinkolasi valikoimastaan. Tai mä suuntaan usein tänne etsimään uusia laseja. Heiltä löytyy niin Celineä, Dioria kuin Pradaa.

When you are in Stockholm I think NK or as the full name is Nordiska Kompagniet is not to miss. It’s a big department store, and they have so many good brands. It’s so nice to walk around, browse through, maybe have a lunch or even stop at the Hermes store that’s located in NK. Special note about their selection of sunglasses. This is where I love to come to find new sunnies. They have Celine, Dior, Prada and so on. 

Gallerian 

Mä suuntaan usein Gallerianiin pelkästään River Islandin takia! Täältä kuitenkin löydät myös Foot Lockerin, Levi’s:sen, Niken yms. Täältä löydät myös perusliikkeita kuten Lindexin ja Vilan.

Usually I head here only because of River Island! But here you find Foot Locker, Levi’s, Nike and so on. And other basic store like Lindex and Vila. 

Hamngatan 8 & 37 

Kyseisistä osoitteista löydätte ensin Zaran ja sitten H&M:n. Joo I know, boring, molemmat löytyy Suomestakin (niin kuin tosin moni muukin liike joka tässä postauksessa on mainittu). Jos kuitenkin haluatte suunnata Tukholmassa Zaraan niin suosittelen tätä liikettä. Keskustassa on kolme Zaraa, ja musta täällä on aina paras valikoima.

Ja niin, tämä on yksinkertaisesti paras H&M, jossa oon käynyt. Heiltä löytyy tuoreimmat mallistot ja liike on iso. Tukholmassahan H&M:ssä myydään myös kosmetiikkaa kuten Nyxiä, L’orealia ja niin edelleen. Ja tästä H&M:stä löytyy myös iso H&M Home osasto, joka kannattaa kurkata. Nämä kaksi on sellaisia joissa pysähdyn aina.

From these two addresses you find first Zara and then H&M. Yes I know for those how live for example in Finland these both stores might be a bit boring.. But if you feel like shopping at Zara, I recommend this one. There are three Zaras in the city and I feel like this one is the best. Feels like they carry the best selection. 

So yes, this is also the best H&M I’ve visited. They always have the newest collections, and the store is big. In Stockholm they also sell cosmetic brands in H&M, for example Nyx, L’oreal and so on. And in this H&M you also find a big H&M Home section, which is worth of checking out. I always stop by at these too store when I’m shopping. 

Mood Gallerian 

Ihana pienikauppakeskus jossa suosittelen pyörähtämään. Täällä voit samalla napata vaikka Juiceverketistä hyvät mehut mukaan, syödä lounaan super suositussa Holy Greensissä tai suunnata päivälliselle Boqueriaan. Liikkeinä täältä löydät muun muaassa Samsoe & Samsoen ja Club Monacon.

Nice little mall in the city that I recommend you stop by. Here you can also grab a nice fresh juice from Juiceverket, have lunch at super popular place called Holy Greens or head for a dinner to Boqueria. And what it comes to the shops here you find for example Samsoe & Samsoe and Club Monaco stores. 

Drottninggatan

Okei tältä kadulta löydät niin H&M:n (parikin), Zaran, Bik Bokin, Kicksin ja muita perusliikkeitä. Kyseinen katu on eniten turistien suosima, ja mä suosittelisin lähtemään reippaasti muualle shoppailemaan. Samalla näette vähän enemmän mitä Tukholmalla on tarjota. Ja niinkuin sanoin niin esimerkiksi Hamngatanin Zara ja H&M, on musta paljon parempia, jos kyseiset liikkeet kiinnostaa. Mä en oikeastaan ikinä pyöri Drottninggatanilla, liikka tungosta ja muualta löytyy musta paremmat kaupat.

Okay, here you find stores like H&M, Zara, Bik Bok, Kicks and other kind of basic stores. This shopping street is most popular among tourists, and I would recommend heading somewhere else to do your shopping. At the same time you’ll get to see what more Stockholm has to offer. And as I said for example the Zara and H&M at Hamngatan are much better, if you are interested in those. I usually never shop at Drottninggatan, too many people and I like the shops better that I located elsewhere. 

Mall Of Scandinavia 

Tästä on kyselty aika paljon. Eli Mall Of Scandinavia on 2016 talvella auennut ostoskeskus ja se kuuluu Pohjoismaiden suurimpiin. En yhtään ihmettele sillä täältä löytyy oikeasti kaikki. Vaikka mä tykkäänkin enemmän käydä keskustassa kaupoissa, ehkä myös siksi kun siinä lähellä asutaan, mutta tietenkin se että kaikki löytyy yhden katon alta tuo oman helppoutensa. Sekä tietenkin ostoskeskus itsessään on sisältä tosi makea! Mutta jos tuutte Tukholmaan niin itse suosittelen kiertelemään keskustassa ja nauttimaan Tukholmasta, sekä sen kahvila  ja ravintola tarjonnasta sen lomassa.

Niin kuin sanoin niin täältä löytyy melkein kaikki, tässä nyt muuta liikettä mainitakseni: River Island, COS, Jackie, Zara Home, Odd Molly, Zara, & Other Stories, H&M..

Niin ja miten tänne sitten pääsee? Keskustan päärautieasemalta eli T-centralenista on helppo hypätä lähijunaan jolla matka kestää vähän yli viisi minuuttia. Junat kohti Uppsalaa ja Märstaa pysähtyvät Solnassa. Kauppakeskus sijaitsee aivan juna-aseman vieressä.

Nilla varmaan pääsette ainakin alkuun 😉 Ja nauttikaa Tukholmasta!

I’ve gotten many questions about this. Mall Of Scandinavia is one of the biggest malls in Nordic countries and it was opened in the winter of 2016. Even though I prefer shopping in the city, maybe because we also live closer to the city, but of course it makes shopping easier when you find everything under one roof. And of course the mall is really cool from inside! But if you come to Stockholm, I recommend that you walk around in the city, enjoy Stockholm and all the cafes and restaurants it has to offer too. 

As I said here you find almost everything, to name a few stores: River Island, COS, Jackie, Zara, Odd Molly, & Other Stories, H&M..

And how do you get there? Easiest way is to take a train from the main railway station which is called T-centralen. The train ride takes around five minutes and the train to Uppsala and to Märsta stop in Solna. The mall is located right next to the train station. 

I guess this was enough to get you started 😉 And enjoy Stockholm!
